#DearDaughter is a blog series by Jordone Massey.
I originally started writing this series as pages in my personal journal to encourage myself. My hope is that writing this series as if God, your Father, is directly speaking to you will inspire you to draw closer to His love in the midst of your hard times.
Dear daughter,
I have been with you since you were a child. I have seen how the naysayers, the bullies, and the words of your parents have kept you from believing My truth about you.
Although your pain is valid, it’s time to heal.
There is a great talent I’ve given you and you must stop letting your insecurities keep you from My prosperity.
Previously, we discussed My heart for you. …(click here to read that blog)
Now, there’s something else I want to mention: your gifts.
O My daughter, I long to see you thrive. This is why I have placed so many gifts and talents inside of you (Matthew 25:14-30). Yet, for so many years, you have buried the gifts that I have given you under fear, comparison, and low self-esteem.
You complain about your lack but you refuse to dedicate the time to cultivate what I’ve given you to build wealth.
Too often, I see the enemy’s people thrive in their giftings more than My own. His people lack Me but they are fearless about pursuing their gifts. This is not the way I desired prosperity to look in the Earth.
My daughter, it is the diligent hand that will rule (Proverbs 12:24, NKJV).
Will you help Me carry My will in the Earth? Let go of your fear and follow Me.
Do not worry about what you lack. Do the best you can with what you have and I’ll help you along the way.
“All you have is all you need” to succeed. - Mignon Francois
Know this…you do not have to face the doubts about your gift alone. Peter was also afraid when he walked on the water. But, he walked anyway.
Yet, when he fell, My hand was there to pick him back up again (Matthew 14:22-33).
Again I say, you do not have to face the doubts about your gift alone.
Ask Me for the grace to let go of your fear of failure, fear of success, and fear of disappointing yourself again. Trust Me.
Your future is greater than your past.
Your former failures are no match for your future success.
If You let me, I can even use your past mistakes as wisdom to help you. Just trust Me.
I will deal with your heart but it is you who must deal with the work of your hands. I want to do this work with you. Will you let Me help you?
Love,
Daddy
Prayer: Lord, please give me the grace to let go of the fear of using the gifts and talents in my heart. I repent for burying my talents. I want to see the provision in my life that You have for me. Will You help my heart and lead me to the right resources, connections, and open doors?
